Always Croatia Day 2-Mljet

Today was day 2 of our yacht tour. We left the dock at 6:30. The ride was smooth sailing. We had breakfast aboard the ship. After 2 hours we reached our swim destination. The water was perfect. We spent an hour in the water then came in for lunch. Following lunch we headed into the shore to the island of Mljet. When we dock we line up with 8 other yachts and we are all hooked together. I chose not to go on the hike through the national forest, but stay and watch the Formula 1 race in the dining room with Semile, the bartender. Unfortunately, LeCerc who had pole position lost! It was so kind of them to set me up with chips and drinks and let me watch. As I said yesterday, the men are soooo tall. I am in this picture with Jason, Frank and Semile, my new friends.

Tomorrow we sail at 8:00am. We will again have breakfast on the ship, sail to another swim spot and then lunch. After lunch we will continue to Kortula, which is the island my grandmother's family is from. Here are some pics of the swim spot and the town of Mljet from today.
