Always Croatia Day 4-Hvar

Today we landed in Hvar. This is the playground for people like Angelina Jolie and George Clooney. In other words lots of money! While in Hvar we hiked up to the Spanjola Fortress which had spectacular views of the bay with all the ships and the outlaying islands. The piazza is made up of beautiful cream colored stone with a church at the end. The time flew by before we had to be back at the ship to catch a bus to take us to lavender fields for dinner. What an amazing experience. We enjoyed wine tasting and food while sitting amidst fields of grapes, vegetables and donkeys. The sun set on the fields while we laughed and enjoyed our final hours in Hvar. Tomorrow a new adventure awaits....
