Miglio50 a culinary treat

This morning was a beautiful day. I took Dorothy for a spin around the top of the wall. 2 laps was 5 miles and the day was off. While wandering the streets looking at all the construction going up for the big event this weekend, Lucca Comics & Games. This is a huge event that takes place every year in Lucca. It is not focused on comics as we know the definition of the word, but on Gaming, Animation, Movies. It is anticipated 30,000-50,000 people will attend from all over Europe. It is one of Lucca's biggest events. I will post pictures of the event on Sunday.

While on my stroll I came across a new restaurant that has only been open 4 days. I had a delicious Lasagnette di Vedura and a glass of Vernacia, a white wine from San Gimignano. The food, environment and service was impeccable. The pictures do not do it justice. I highly recommend while in Lucca you stop in to Miglio50 for a bite to eat and a delicious glass of wine from their extensive wine list.
